Written by a NHS patient at Leeds General Infirmary

I had a very rare tumour on my spine which rendered me effectively paralysed, quite suddenly really. I have always been very active so this was not only physically debilitating, but emotionally very distressing. Mr Sinha knew exactly what I had and where it was. Right from the start, he made me feel safe, comfortable and confident about what was going to happen. I actually ended up having my operation earlier than expected as my condition deteriorated rapidly and I was in a great deal of discomfort. I also felt very well informed all along the way and I am extremely grateful and pleased to say that I am now walking again and recovering well.
