Written by a private patient at Nuffield Hospital Leeds

I had consistent low level pain in both legs for over a year, Physiotherapy had helped but I felt at 45 years old I was getting less and less mobile and I was increasingly less healthy as a result. I went to see Mr Sinha to understand the cause and hopefully get some further advice on getting more active, but after a scan it was revealed that I had a far more serious underlying issue which required surgery. Mr Sinha was extremely clear and honest with me and we discussed risk versus benefit of surgery on no less than 3 occasions prior to my consenting to surgery. The decision to have surgery was a big one, and i felt very supported by Mr Sinha all the way, he gave me space and time to consider my options and was always available to answer any questions that I had.. the surgery itself went very well, I now have no leg pain and after many months of physio am returning slowly to all of the sports that were out of the question last year.. I would recommend Mr Sinha and Leeds Nuffietld hospital to anyone.
